Since 1967, the Department of Chemical Engineering has been serving students and striving for excellent. Over the past six years, the Chemical Engineering faculty have received more than five million dollars in external research grants. This allows our students the opportunity to gain research experience in composite materials, pharmaceuticals, 3-D printing, microfabrication, process control & automation and Artificial Intelligence. We actively support the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the International Society of Automation student clubs. Our dedication to sustainability is evident by the minor degree in Environmental Engineering that our department offers, and in the seven courses we teach for the B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering.

Mission
The mission of the Department of Chemical Engineering at 澳门六开彩开奖结果资料查询 is to prepare students for future careers as professional engineers, researchers and/or entrepreneurs. We do this by providing a well- rounded educational experience with strong foundations in the fundamentals of science and in engineering problem solving and design. We also emphasize interpersonal skills such as teamwork, communication and awareness of diversity, inclusion and societal needs. Our graduates will be the leaders who will solve the technical challenges facing the world.
Programs
From cosmetics to plastics, potato chips to microelectronic chips, and energy to environment, chemical engineers work on processes that responsibly convert raw materials into useful products. The Chemical Engineering Department offers practice-oriented programs to develop well-trained professionals who will be successful in their careers and prepared for advanced studies.
